Normally, the process to install your new curb only takes one day. This, of course, is determined by the footage, desired design and type of curbing being laid. As you can expect, all projects are unique to each other, but we make it our business to achieve complete promptly.
No. All the colors are added to the curbing during the mixing of the concrete. As a result, there will be no flaking or running of our colors. Over time however, the color of the curb may start to fade, as do most things constantly exposed to the elements. Sealing the curb helps to limit and prolong this fading from occuring.
Concrete curbing is like any other type of concrete. It can and, most likely, will crack eventually. Cracking is deterred using control joints every two to four feet. Our expertly laid curbing experiences very little cracking. It is important to inform your lawn maintenance company of the curbing and instruct them to avoid getting too close to the curbing with lawn mowers. Also, if curbing is installed along a driveway/pathway, please be aware that making contact with the curbing with your vehicle can cause damage. If and when cracking does occur, contact us for a no obligation consultation regarding repairs. Charges may apply for any repairs made.
After installation is complete, the curbing is vulnerable for about 48 hours. During that time it could be damaged by children, pets or anything stepping on or rolling over the curbing. If damage occurs during the 48 hour window, it will be fixed for a fee.
